Coffee with God~

This morning when I was having coffee with God I opened up my heart and poured out some pretty BIG emotions. It was all good. God did not hold back on informing me how much I was loved and appreciated by many, even those I do not know. God also decided to tell me that while Love is the most powerful force in the entire Universe so is trust, loyalty, and compassion. This is what "TLC" stands for and that when we can all walk, talk, and breathe 'TLC' that is when the 'big plan' will come to fruition. That is when all of the 'cosmic laws' will come together in 'perfect order' and we will feel so much joy and bliss that our feet will feel like they are not touching the ground. As we finished up our chat, God also reminded me that everywhere there is love there is light and that darkness is just a lack of light. God showed me how to 'shed light' on every situation. God said that each one of us are beacons in our own right. We just have some memory issues and that this is a huge cosmic project that Heaven's Task force has been charged with. The project 'Cosmic Amnesia' has been going quite well and all will benefit from it. God also reminded me that divine timing and order are never ever not running on schedule because in 'true reality' there is no time and space restrictions.

I just love Mother Teresa! She is one of my heroes!! She reminds us that trust works both ways. My thoughts are that when we seem to have a full plate.....and things can seem a tad bit overwhelming.....look at it as a compliment. When I look back I see that the trust between myself and Creator has been more that a spiritual handshake. I has been the lesson on my part that has brought me into a better understanding of what trust really is. It has made me take a look at my relationships in every area of my life. My mother has always said that "I trust people too much." What is too much trust? Why do we trust some and not others? Betrayal? Promises not being kept? We don't trust our self? I could pose questions for days here But the bottom line is that when we trust, we love. When we trust, we are in gratitude. When we trust and we know that with out a doubt that all is well we are not micro-managing, we are not trying to control the situation.

But hey...life sometimes throws us curve balls. We are moving along and everything is smooth sailing and then WHAM! You get knocked down or knocked in the head with life's little (or big) surprises and you get thrown for a loop. Now all along you were trusting that all was well and you knew that without a doubt all things are running according to the plan. But wait.....it didn't...it didn't at all!!! The rug got pulled right out from underneath ya! OUCH!!! Hard fall! And you want me to trust???
Well...this is when trusting becomes even more important!! This is when trust becomes a virtue. I know....you are thinking...Trust now? After that? Are you crazy?
But this is the point when you surrender and TRUST WITHOUT A DOUBT. You just KNOW that everything is going to work out for the best. Trust that it is being driven by a force bigger than your self. Like Mother Teresa pointed out...trust really works both ways.
I trust that today will be exactly the way it is suppose to be! With out a doubt!

Universal Gratitude~ Join World Gratitude!

About four years ago I joined a world wide experiment called Go Gratitude. It was created by a gal in Washington state. She did a 42-day e-mail campaign and created a wave of gratitude! It was awesome because every day I would wake up, read the e-mail, and shift into gratitude. I still get e-mails from her. I just received one yesterday as a matter of fact and now her program has evolved to World Gratitude. You can go to her website by clicking on the 'gratitude rock' at the upper right hand corner of my blog. She is rolling out a new 42-day program on gratitude.

When we are living fully in gratitude, we are living our life to it's fullest potential. When we can keep our self in this powerful and elated state of being, we will attract beautiful people and experiences. Gratitude can be found in everything.

New Moon in Aries~ Sabian Symbols

The Sabian symbol for the New Moon at 7 Aries is, “a man successfully expressing himself in two worlds at once”, with the keyword PROFICIENCY. Aries is the beginning of the zodiac and with this being the first new moon of the spring equinox (re-birth) this is probably one of the most powerful new beginning moons of the year. We need to really 'bite' into this energy! I say this because we should soul binge on all of this newness! I can feel the movement and the re-birth and the newness all around me. It is time to breathe deep and smell the new roses. It is time to dig in to Mother Earth and smell the pureness of all that is.

It is also a time of re-evaluating our trust system. I have really had this issue coming up consciously and otherwise. If we can just take a minute to look at the re-birth that is going on in nature all around us...we can mind-morph to the natural reality of what trust is really all about. I do not think that one of the bushes or plants or trees in the yard worried about sprouting buds, flowers, or leaves. I can not believe how fast a bare bush is now covered in the newness of green.....or the apple blossoms just appeared out on no where. I do not think I have ever seen a stressed out blue jay worried about eating. It is just magical. It is a unconditional trust, if you will, that can only been taught through God's garden.

So be 'fully' in this new moon. It is a gift. It is a blessing of the highest order.

Our Sister Planet

Hidden behind her cloudy veil
and beneath the dust
that lies
in her cratered cleavage,
is a planet of hidden beauty

She is a mystery to us still
as her hot temper

from walking on her ash laid

My reflection: I pulled this poem out of my archives. I have a love affair with Venus. She is such a mystery to me and she is also my ruling planet. There is something to be said about her beautiful goddess energy. She is a terrestrial planet and is often referred to as Earth's twin or sister planet. She is closer to the sun than Mars, with Mercury being the closest. Venus has no moons and Venus is the hottest and brightest planet in our solar system! Venus is in retrograde right now as I post this and will be so until April 17th, 2009. Retrograde planets bring us an opportunity to re-do, re-think, and re-plan. Enjoy her beauty.........I know I do!

Dancing the Cosmic Dance~

Did you know that 4 out of 10 galaxies are out of balance????? That sure made me feel better! From the birth of stars to the evolution of galaxies the cosmos blow my mind! I have been enamored by the spacious skies for most of my life! The first word I learned to say was 'moon' and my most beautiful horse on the planet in my adolescence was named "Star".....God I loved that horse!

My 2009 learning expedition has been to study more about the cosmos and be more in tune with what is going on in the Universe. I became addicted to Stephen Hawking and watched every one of his videos on you tube. I studied light heart-ed-ly some of the greatest astronomers of the centuries. I am in awe of how the technology of the telescope has evolved. I dream that I will win a trip to the moon or some exotic planet....I love watching the movie 'Contact' with Jodie Foster...it gives me the cosmic chills! I have a really cool map of the cosmos from National Geographic that I chart out my vacations!!....and I love the song 'Drops of Jupiter' by Train .....Now that shes back from that soul vacation. Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey...... know that is WHAT I AM talking about~!

I believe that I dance the cosmic dance. When things here on planet earth seem a little shake-y and I am feeling out of sorts ....I zoom to my favorite place......the cosmos!

Vernal Equinox- Happy Spring!

It is officially Spring here in the Northern hemisphere. At 7:44 a.m. (ET)today we shifted into a new beginning and re-birth. As all the buds start opening and turning a new color of green, the birds begin their spring gala, and the days and nights balance out to equal hours of light and darkness. The sun and the moon continue their cosmic dance and stars seem to twinkle a little brighter.

Thinking and Living Green~ It is all about us and our planet!

Well we all know the saying..."life is about choices" and as the Buddha taught us ..."What we think, we are (or become) " and in reality all of this boils down to one simple thing....conscious choices. Every single day we should choose to be aware of our environment and honor Mother Earth. If each one of us made an eco-based change in our lives each day and consistently took action to become good stewards of our planet; not only would we shift the catastrophic effects on our blue planet ...but we would create a happy, healthy, sustainable refuge for all of us to enjoy and be proud of for millenia..(yes folks 1000's of years!). We as Ego-driven humans need to re-program to Eco-driven beings. Many of you already have and I thank you and Mother Earth thanks you and hey thank yourself! Change starts at HOME!!.. and in the work place and the play space! My daughter, (my biggest green hero) taught me to become conscious ....just by setting the example! Practice the three R's...reuse, reduce,recycle. Selecting organic products and take advantage of green programs in your community or create green programs in your community. Choose to use sustainable products like bamboo, eucalyptus......there are so many ways to make fun and exciting changes to promote a clean and healthy world.
The buzz word for today and tomorrow is 'green'.....Living green, green collar jobs, green communities, green cars....way cool! Green is beautiful! Think green and let's live the Good Life!

mantra: Today I choose to take action in being a good steward of this earth. It is my divine duty to be a green ambassador of my beautiful planet. God created this amazing space and it is my job to be an earth angel!

Oh my gosh....one of my biggest struggles in my life has been the ability to be patient. You know...the 'let it roll off of your back like a duck' attitude or just flat out having the patience of a Saint! Sometimes we feel like others should be where we are at a certain point in life...be it financially, spiritually, mentally, and physically...(this list can certainly go on). But this is when we have to step back and marvel at the beauty of where others are in their life. How they got there and how they are traveling on their path. We can hold their hand and rally around them, but we do not need to push them along or move them like they are chess pieces. Their moves, their choices, and their non-action, are what creates their lessons and inspires and facilitates their growth. We may become frustrated because they are not doing what we think is best for them...but this our lesson in patience. Being able to walk along side them is an incredible journey and I feel it teaches us the ultimate experience in patience.

The four cardinal virtues referred to by Plato are prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance( see Plato's Republic). In Christianity the three virtues are looked at as hope, faith, and charity (or love. ) So where does patience fit in? Where did it come from and how did it originate?

From "Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings" by Gregory Y. Titelman (Random House, New York, 1996): "Patience is a virtue. The ability to wait for something without excessive frustration is a valuable character trait. The proverb has been traced back to 'Piers Plowman' (1377) by William Langland and is similar to the Latin, Maxima enim..patientia virtus (Patience is the greatest virtue) and the French, Patience est une grant vertu. (Patience is a great value.) Some ten years after Langland, Chaucer wrote in 'The Canterbury Tales' (1386) that 'Patience is a high virtue.' Just BREATHE! - Sunday Inspirit-ation--Take a breather!

Okay...so sometimes I forget to do things that are part of my daily regimen. I may forget to take my meds, mail or pay a bill,or return a phone call. But as life can sometimes pick me up and carry me away into the grand illusion....I forget to BREATHE! Being an air sign...you would think that breathing would be a natural thing.....but no, I catch my self holding my breathe or breathing irregular. Actually breathing is a very natural thing to do...we just do it. But it is how we are breathing or not breathing that has an impact on our body, on our mind, and on our spirit. I am getting way better at catching myself and paying more attention to my breathing. I am blessed to have friends that blurt out ..."Just Breathe Desiree". And just like the song goes..I cradle my head in my hands and just breathe! Take the time to check in on yourself? Are you breathing?

UNIVERSAL PEACE ~Happy Saturday~

Today I reflect inner peace. I find peace in my heart, in nature, in my home, and in my mind. I see only the divine order of all things and trust that it is exactly the way it is suppose to be.

My reflection: I love flute music, Especially the Native American flute. This music brings peace to me and grounds me so that I can do my divine duties here on earth. Click on the Winds Quiet Sounds (one of my favorites by Jeff) and listen to 'The Hawks Flight". Beautiful!

Universal Love~ all we need is love!

Someone once asked me what would be the one thing I would ask for if I was granted one wish for anything I could have in the entire universe. My response was quick, it was not thought out, I did not have to do a process of elimination....I simply answered 'matter of fact-ly'........'universal love'. This person was kind of taken back by my answer and could not understand where I was coming from...and that of all the things I could have why I would not want things like money, the perfect mate, the huge home, ...yaddda yaddda yaddda!

I explained to her that in that my eyes (my view), in my heart (my feelings), and in my mind (my thoughts), that there is nothing more powerful on this planet than love.
Love can HEAL anything and everything. Love can bring peace, trust, harmony, and it can bring happiness and joy to the entire universe. If every person could ground themselves into the awesome power of love, we simply would not need anything else. Love would bring about changes so grand that we would experience the ultimate.... heaven on earth. The only thing that is real is love.

Today look around you and reach out to everyone you meet. Open that door for someone, give the person behind you that perfect parking space, help out the homeless man on the corner. visit the food shelter, make a donation to a cause that you are passionate about. Do something special for you! Look in the mirror and say...I AM love! every action you take today ....take it in the name of love. Love is all we need.

The UNiverse Has MY BACK!

Today I trust with all of my heart that everything is happening in divine order. I know that without a doubt that I have co-created with this ever expanding universe and that all of my needs are met. I understand that everything happens for the highest good of myself and for others. I am in gratitude and I humbly thank every person, place, or thing that shows up in my life. Universal Abundance~

Today I step into the universal flow of abundance. I see goodness, beauty, and abundance all around me. I give to the universe freely and unconditionally and the universe gives back ten fold. I respect the workings of the universal laws and I understand that they all work together in divine harmony. All is in perfect balance and all is well. ~so it is said and so it shall be~

The Universal Lemon Law~

I love lemons...and when life gives me lemons I get off the hook crazy on what I can do with those lemons! I see nothing but opportunity and I get to work! While I can make lemonade... I can also make lemon meringue pie, lemon drops, lemon cookies, lemon chicken, lemon pudding, lemon jello, lemon cake, lemon bars, lemon dill salmon...my favorite : ),lemon mousse, lemon streudel, lemon, lemon, lemon ..mania! This so-called 'sour' fruit can turn into the sweetest, decadent,and palette loving of creations! As... so can life!

There was an article that headlined the news yesterday about President Obama's statement in regard to our current state of affairs. His point was that crisis is a time of great 'opportunity'. An excellent article. A friend and I were discussing the topic in depth and he made a comment in regard to the I-ching and how it speaks about 'adversity'. It is in these times that we can stand in our power and take something that we would deem bad, not-so- good, or negative and tap into the ultimate field of opportunities, find the blessings so to speak, or in other words....make lemonade.....lot's of lemonade! I am talking gallons of lemonade! It is time.

Today I am in the universal flow. I connect with all people, places, and things at the highest level of love. I am co-creating a peaceful and perfect day. I see the beauty all around me and I feel the love in the air with every breath I take. I am divine, and I am love. Today... all is well.

~My Star Wand~ Universal Magic

I fell asleep asking the Universe to help me find my star wand. I laid in bed and chanted my helpful mantra and plea (you know the one when you have lost your car keys...or your wallet!) well heck...I will share it with you! It goes like this:

It never fails to work. It works like magic. When we have the desire for something and we lose it in the illusion, just chant the MIND/GOD thing and it will draw to you like a magnet. It will manifest at rapid speed. If your intentions are pure and your thoughts follow suit.......there is nothing that can stop you from co-creating with the Universe. The right people, places, and things will show up faster than Federal Express! I am so blessed to hold in my heart....my magical star wand.

We often do not take the time to connect to the flow of the Universe. We get caught up in our daily tasks and dramas ....which separate us from the "universal symphony" that is forever playing in our lives. The key to Universe is so simple. There is one lock and one key. They always fit perfectly with each other. The lock never needs changing. On an esoteric level the Universe is the lock and YOU are the KEY. A perfect fit. When you unlock the Universal messages and signs with YOU, the key, you open up the doors to unlimited potential for yourself, for others, and amazingly enough........for the entire planet! It is a Universal conspiracy of the highest order !!! We see magical things happening on every level of existence. We are in harmony with nature, with our Earth Mother We understand our connection to the cosmos and how the beauty of chaos before order applies to all of life. We connect at higher levels with our brothers and sisters and we reach a level of awareness where everything is brighter, lighter, and vibrating at a divine frequency. Signs From the Universe~ aka 'sacred signs'

I have always felt that if we payed attention, that we would be tuned into a universal language that is creative, inspiring, and could certainly be dubbed..'divine guidance'. I have never doubted that I have always had many helpers seen and unseen just waiting around for my permission to let them be a guiding light on my journey. I also am not afraid, ashamed, or embarrassed to ask for signs from my Universe. Some may think that it is childish or even a lack of faith. And that is okay. I look at it as a fun and exciting game where every one is a winner! Plus I am enamored by the creativity and the craftiness that the Universe brings to me. It inspires me, elates me, and brings me to an all natural high that some of the greatest poets, writers, and wise ones have communicated to us for centuries. I have had sacred signs show up in every way one can imagine. They may pop up on my computer screen or through e-mails, by way of Mother Nature or in words right from a friendly strangers mouth or even a song on the radio. I have had signs show up in a bakery, a post office, in my mail box, on the clock, the odometer, the bathroom, and yes even the kitchen sink! The month of March will be focused on sacred signs, albeit the name of this blog! It is my intention to share with you and for you to share with me your incredible deliveries from the Universe and your wonderful ability to UNDERSTAND and utilize these signs. I feel that when I am really tuned into my Universe...then I am truly living an Enchanted life! And the universal rules to this game that apply here are A) ASK and B) BE READY!
